Of course! Our hair and makeup experts can customise any of the styles to meet your preferences and to complement your face and hair. You may include your preferences in the "comments" box in the booking form, or you may communicate them to the sponge expert at your appointment.

If you booked a blowout (The Boss), please be ready for your appointment with damp hair. We recommend that you wash your hair 15 minutes prior to your appointment. For locations where this would be hard, such as at the office, we are happy to do dry styling. Our hair experts also carry water spray bottles in case of need.
If you booked a wavy hairstyle, a curly hairstyle, an updo service or a braid service, please be ready for your appointment with dry hair. We recommend that you wash your hair the night before your appointment.
If you booked a makeup service or makeup lesson, please be ready for your appointment by removing all makeup, and by cleansing and moisturising your face prior to your appointment.
Our hair and makeup experts will need a flat surface that is close to an electrical outlet and a chair to give you the best experience.
Some of our experts may be scared of or allergic to pets. Kindly crate your pets prior to and during your appointment.
Your appointment length depends on the service you book. Please refer to our menu to see how long each service takes.
The indicated time in the menu includes a consultation at the beginning of the appointment. Kindly note that adding the false eyelashes option to a makeup appointment will add approximately 5-10 minutes to the appointment length.
Upon your first booking, you will be prompted to enter your credit card information in the booking form.
If you sign up for an account, your credit card information will then be securely stored for all future appointments.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners and JCB.
Prices differ based on the service and the style chosen. Please refer to our menu for our prices.
Tips are not included in the service price. If you are happy with your appointment, cash tips for our experts are always welcome.
The card that you enter in the booking form will be charged at the time of booking.
To ensure that our experts are on time for all of our customers’ appointments, it is important that you be ready for your appointment on time.
Things happen, we get it. If you are running late for your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] or use the contact form. Please include your name, email address and the date & time of your appointment, and how late you think you will be. We will do our best to accommodate you. However, please note our late and no-show policy below.
If you do not show up for your appointment within 10 minutes of your appointment time, the appointment is forfeited and you will not be refunded any portion of the service price. We do not do refunds or exchanges. We're sorry, but at this time we cannot make any exceptions.
Plans change, we get it. If you have any changes in your schedule and need to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] or use the contact form. Please include your name, email address, and the date & time of the original appointment, and the desired change. However, please note our cancellation policy below.
If you cancel your appointment 24 hours or more before your appointment start time, you will be refunded 50% of the service price.
If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment start time, you will not be refunded any portion of the service price.
All refunds will be made using the original payment method. All cancellations on services booked with a promo code will result in the forfeiture of that promo code. We do not do refunds or exchanges. We're sorry, but at this time we cannot make any exceptions.
Current appointment locations are Central MTR, Sheung Wan MTR, Sai Ying Pun MTR, HKU MTR, Kennedy Town MTR, Admiralty MTR, Wan Chai MTR, Causeway Bay MTR, and the Mid-Level and Happy Valley areas in Hong Kong. We are working hard on offering more locations soon!

Yes! You can purchase gift certificates on our booking page.
Upon purchase, a copy of the gift certificate will be sent to you by email. And you can give the gift certificate, or send via email, to the lucky recipient when you are ready to do so!
The Sponge makeup expert will show you exactly want you want to learn during a private one-on-one makeup lesson at your desired location. Whether it's how to pick the best foundation for you, how to do a smokey eye, or how to do an evening makeup look, you get to choose what you learn!
The makeup expert will look at your own makeup products and make recommendations based on your personal traits, preferences and the makeup products they have in their own professional kit.
Each expert’s kit contains a wide range of all the necessary products and tools for each appointment to cater to the requested service and the customer’s individual preferences and traits. Our experts carry a large variety of brands that are considered industry standards. Our hairstylists' tools and products are sponsored by Amika. Our makeup artists' tools and products are sponsored by Benefit Cosmetics. Each expert’s kit is reviewed to ensure it adheres to standards of quality and cleanliness.
Yes! Our makeup experts carry a variety of false eyelashes with them. Please refer to the booking form to add this option to your makeup appointment.
Kindly note that adding the false eyelashes option to a makeup appointment will add approximately 5-10 minutes to the appointment length.
Unfortunately we do not provide hair extensions at this time.
They are professionals in their field, and go through a vigorous selection process which includes interviews and trials.
We are an on-demand service, which means we cannot guarantee a specific expert for your appointment.
We do, however, place particular emphasis on guaranteeing consistent service and satisfaction to our customers.
